Slow Geometry
Elefante Dining Table
This table began as an adaptation of the Elefante side tables. We kept the same language and simply worked through proportion and scale, stretching the idea until it could hold a larger surface. The form accepted the change naturally, which made us think it could become its own series.
What I like the most is how the base behaves. The shapes feel like they are in slow movement, stacked with calm, almost fluid. There is no sharp transition. Each volume supports the next, rising gently to hold the cover top, as if the mass itself were carrying it upward.
The result feels familiar but new. Grounded, but soft. A table that comes from something already known, yet shifts its role through scale. It holds the surface with ease, letting the form do the work quietly.
