Imperfect, Right
Elefante No 52 Console Table
The Elefante console table is intentionally not symmetrical. The volumes are stacked slightly off, one resting over another, creating a quiet imbalance that gives the piece its presence. Nothing is mirrored. Nothing is forced. The composition feels stable, but never rigid.
It is built from small, simple forms, stacked vertically, letting proportion do the work instead of detail. The walnut wood adds warmth and depth, softening the structure and allowing the grain to remain visible. The piece feels architectural, but approachable, grounded without being heavy.
What defines it most is the idea that the shape has to be imperfect in order to be perfect. The slight shifts, the irregular alignment, the gentle tension between volumes. That is where the balance lives. Not in precision alone, but in restraint. Not exact, but right.
