Special Commissions
Sculptural works and collectible furniture developed through commissioned projects.
Each piece is conceived in response to context, proportion, and material intent, and produced in Mexico City with controlled precision.
We work with architects, interior designers, and private clients on projects that require specificity, presence, and integration within a defined space. Commissions range from adaptations of existing works to entirely new pieces developed from first principles.
Adapted Works
Selected pieces from our collection can be reworked in scale, material, and finish. Adjustments are made to maintain the integrity of the original form while aligning with the spatial and technical requirements of the project.
Bespoke Commissions
We develop original pieces in response to architectural context or project-specific needs. Each commission is resolved through a process that includes design development, prototyping when required, and final production.
From initial concept to final piece, the work is treated as a singular object, with attention to proportion, structure, and material behavior.
Project Integration
Commissions can be produced as individual works or as part of a broader project. We collaborate closely with project teams to ensure alignment across dimensions, finishes, timelines, and installation conditions.
Production is managed through a combination of digital precision and handcrafted processes, ensuring consistency and material quality.
Project Process
Inquiry
Projects begin with a request outlining the piece, context, or requirement. We provide initial information on materials, dimensions, and lead times, and define the scope of the commission.
Development & Quote
Based on project requirements, we define dimensions, materials, and finishes, and prepare a formal proposal. For bespoke pieces, this stage may include initial design direction.
Confirmation
Upon approval and deposit, we proceed with design development. Technical drawings are prepared for review and confirmation. Material and finish samples can be provided if required.
Production
Production begins once all specifications are confirmed. Each piece is fabricated in Mexico City with a standard lead time of 9 to 12 weeks, depending on complexity.
Completion
Finished works are documented and shared for final approval prior to shipment.
Delivery
We coordinate door to door shipping and provide tracking information. For large scale pieces, site conditions and access should be reviewed in advance. Installation can be coordinated upon request.
